Recent evidence has shown us that our food can and does make us sick however it is usually the last thing we consider when we are ill. Instead, we have come to accept that certain discomforts after eating are normal. For instance, that recurring headache, bloating and/or stomach pain we get after eating mom’s meatloaf is NOT normal but it has become so common to us that we just don’t think about it anymore because it can’t be the food!! Could it? The answer is … YES it can.

The Lifestyle Eating And Performance (LEAP) program is designed to work in conjunction with the Mediator Release Test (MRT) which identifies 150 foods/additives/chemicals to which a person may be sensitive. This program is specific to working with delayed Type IV hypersensitivities which can occur within two to 72 hours of ingestion. Many times, that spaghetti we think causes us problems may actually be a chemical contained in the spaghetti sauce and not the sauce itself. The MRT identifies such chemicals.

Research clearly shows that often times, symptoms associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and/or Migraine Headaches are in fact food sensitivities. Many people who tested with the MRT have suffered for years with increasingly worsening symptoms of either IBS, Fibromyalgia, Migraine Headache or some form of a chronic condition which has caused an inflammatory response. It is this inflammatory response which can cause us to become very ill. Often times, sufferers of these chronic conditions find themselves unable to perform common daily routines such as going to the grocery store or eating a meal in a restaurant with friends without experiencing excruciating pain and/or discomfort. Multiple medications and/or interventions simply have not worked and so many people give up attempting to perform these activities.

Testing via the MRT and undergoing the LEAP protocol has changed lives.

I just thought I would let you know how things are going. I am doing great and seem to be adjusting to the diet really well. I am into my 4th phase now and it’s getting a lot easier. I can eat a lot more food now, and I like a lot of it. It’s made things a lot better. I feel really good or normal I should say. I have lots of energy, I’m focused and alert, I feel happy and my mood is good. I know it probably sounds too good to be true, but really I can’t think of anything negative about the way I feel right now.

The majority of suffers experience an 80% improvement of symptoms within just 10 days!

How it Works:

The MRT is a blood test, you have your blood drawn and the results are sent to Signet Laboratories Inc., where the results are interpreted and either forwarded to your physician or dietitian. Once you have received the results you can begin the LEAP program under the direct supervision of a Registered/Licensed Dietitian who is also a Certified LEAP Therapist. Your Dietitian will design a diet protocol which specifically includes foods that do not make you ill.

This is why working with a Certified LEAP Therapist is invaluable…You have the benefit of a customized plan designed to assist in keeping you pain free.

Food can in fact make us sick but the MRT and LEAP can help you regain control of your own life.
